Abstract: Since a long time it has been clear that paper surfaces constitute a rich and computationally tractable class of surfaces, of interest for mathematicians, as well as for designers and artists. It is well understood how paper folds in a small neighbourhood of a single curved crease but results of global nature (for instance when combinatorics of the sheet is not trivial or two creases coexist) remain elusive.
